What is the legal window tint limit in Arizona?
Under Arizona law (A.R.S. 28-959.01), front side windows must allow more than 33% of light through (33% VLT, with a small tolerance). Back side windows and the rear window can be any darkness. The windshield allows non-reflective tint above the AS-1 line. Film may not exceed 35% reflectivity, and red and amber tints are not permitted.
Will my automotive tint job be legal?
Every automotive job is quoted to keep you within Arizona's tint law, and we will tell you plainly if what you are asking for is not legal.
What is the difference between ceramic and dyed window tint?
Dyed film is the budget option: it darkens the glass and cuts glare, but it rejects less heat and fades faster. Ceramic film blocks significantly more infrared heat at the same shade, does not interfere with phone or GPS signal, and holds its color.
Is paint protection film worth it?
PPF is a clear urethane layer that takes rock chips, sand blasting, and light scratches instead of your paint, and it self-heals minor marks with heat. Coverage can be a front-end package or the full vehicle, depending on budget.
How soon can I roll my windows down after a tint install?
Leave them up for three to five days while the film cures. Some haze or small water pockets right after install are normal and clear as it dries.
Do you remove old, bubbling, or purple tint?
Yes. Old film removal is its own job and is quoted separately from the new install, and it is handled carefully on rear glass with defroster lines.
Commercial
Storefronts and offices
Will commercial window film really lower cooling costs?
Solar and heat-rejection film reduces the heat coming through the glass, which means the HVAC system runs less to hold the same temperature, and it blocks up to 99% of UV as well.
Can you add custom graphics or lettering to storefront glass?
Yes. Custom cut window graphics and lettering are part of the commercial division, alongside solar, privacy, frosted, and safety and security film.
Residential
Homes
How much UV does residential window film block?
Quality residential film blocks up to 99% of UV, which is what fades flooring, art, and furniture, in addition to reducing heat and glare.
Does residential film give daytime privacy?
Yes. Residential film reduces heat and glare while also providing daytime privacy without covering the windows in blackout curtains.
